Faiza Seth, B.A. Economics, MBA
Director

Faiza has enjoyed living all over the world, including the India, the US, Hong Kong and the UK. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northwestern University in 2000, she worked across a diverse range of industries and then obtained her MBA from Stanford University in California in 2006.
Faiza began her career in the Equity Capital Markets group at Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong. Following this, she established her own international apparel manufacturing and trading business, Norwest Industries Ltd. in Hong Kong.
She currently is the CEO of Casa Forma, a property development, and interior design business headquartered in London. |

Fareesa Abbasi, B.A. History and Legal Studies
Director

Fareesa holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Legal Studies from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, with a concentration in Africa and the Middle East. She has a keen interest in developmental work and has extended her services throughout Asia, Eastern Europe and Central America. Fareesa has a passion for non-profits, and besides working for Soham for Kids, she is an active member of the community and most recently was involved with the Po Leung Kuk Orphanage in Hong Kong. |

Nusrat Jalees Abbasi
Director

Nusrat Jalees Abbasi was born in Aurangabad, India. Her educational journey began at Saint Francis De Sales Convent School in Aurangabad. She then got her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Sarwati Bhavan College and went on to pursue her Masters in Biochemistry from Marathwada University. She has a passion for teaching and her past work experience includes teaching at Saint Francis De Sales Convent School in Aurangabad for eight years. She is excited to work for Soham for Kids HOPE School and help underprivileged and orphaned children obtain an education. She is passionate about helping others, and as a Senior Teacher and Director of Soham for Kids HOPE School, she is looking forward to providing an international standard of education, access to health care, and providing nutritional meals to the less fortunate.

Farooq Abbasi
Vice President

Farooq is pursuing a degree in Biology and Finance, minoring in Philosophy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Presently he is an active member of the collegiate charity organization Alternative Spring Break, and he hopes to extend his efforts to help to those abroad after medical school. He intends to help increase awareness of Soham For Kids, and will be a medical consultant to the organization. |

Siddique Abbasi, B.A., M.D.
Medical Director

Siddique has been involved with non-profit work and volunteerism at every stage of his career. He has a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy from Saint Louis University and he earned his Doctorate in Medicine from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington and he was on faculty at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He is currently a fellow in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He co-founded and currently sits on the board of directors of Anthropedia, Inc, an international non-profit foundation that promotes well-being through health and educational initiatives. His previous work with children includes providing free medical care to underserved children in New York through the East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership and to underserved children in St. Louis through the Health Resource Center. |

Pallak Seth
Director of Fundraising

Pallak has a diverse international background which has involved him living all over the world, including India, the US, Hong Kong and the UK. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Business from Northwestern University in 1998, he co founded Norwest Industries Ltd., an apparel manufacturing/trading business based in Hong Kong. Pallak is a serial entreprenuer who has founded 20 successful businesses since graduating from Northwestern. With over eight years of experience in the apparel industry, he is currently the Vice Chairman of House of Pearl Fashions. He has been involved in donating to many charities that are involved in educating children and providing free health care to the impoverished in India but now is keen in helping Soham for Kids in fundraising efforts.
